At first glance this Hall China automobile teapot in Chinese red glaze, appears to be a rare example that was produced at Hall China in East Liverpool, Ohio between 1938-39.  However, this piece was actually one of two produced in the mid-1980s for a special occasion.  One way to tell the difference, is that this teapot has no back stamp (factory mark) at all!  Otherwise it looks quite similar to its Art Deco counterparts.
